Alongside friendship the most important help we bring to our global partners is financial resources. Our partners live in slums surrounded by poverty. They have little money and their friends have little money. With good accounting and audit practices we really help empower what they do by providing vital funding. Regular monthly giving helps us send them monthly funding to keep their programs going, one-off gifts help us with special projects or one-off capital costs.

When I Grow Up is a 501(c)3 charity as determined by the IRS. Our Tax ID number is 51-0657890. Donations received through the mail or online will qualify as charitable giving in your annual tax returns. We will provide suitable tax receipts.

When I Grow Up supports the partners that When I Grow Up considers suitable to partner with. Our various partners have shown themselves to be responsible and effective in handling minimal resources and using them to maximize effectiveness. Having shown themselves responsible and faithful with small resources we trust them to bring equal diligence and effectiveness with greater resources. Your donations go to help the programs our partners run. Occasionally we promote a specific need one of our partner’s highlight that is beyond the normal amount they are given to operate with.
